Dear Lush Fab Glam Readers

Dear Lush Fab Glam Readers,

No matter what stage of life we are in or what roles and titles we hold (e.g. working professional, mother, wife, woman entrepreneur, humanitarian, vegan, coffee lover or friend). The one thing we all have in common is that we are women, beautiful and unique with complex experiences. We are still discovering ourselves and we will continue to do so for the rest of our lives.

Although the roles we hold in our own life, in the lives of others and society as a whole may change with time. Never doubt the fact that in every stage, whether or not you are aware of it, you have been an inspiration to others as they have been to you.

When you look back on it, you may even find that you were an inspiration to yourself as well because just as we can sometimes be our own harshest critics. We can also learn from, find strength and inspiration in our own life story and journey.

So the question that we pose to you and to ourselves today is what are you doing right now, in this moment to inspire or provide hope to someone else and even to yourself? Feel free to answer by leaving a comment below, discuss with someone else or simply reflect on the answer.

If you are wondering why we asked this question? Simply put, life is a series of stages where we receive and give from the moment we are conceived. At birth we receive care from our family and as babies we give the profound gift of being able to create life and the joy of that role to our parents. As well as the indescribable love that is shared between mother and child. Then there are countless moments of giving and receiving  that occur as we grow and create new relationships with others.

So to answer the question posed above, as we here at Lush-Fab-Glam.com share our stories, experiences, life lessons and the journeys of others with you. We hope to encourage you, inspire you and prepare you for similar life stages and situations. We will also learn and be inspired by YOU and so will our other readers. Simply because you have chosen to share your own ideas, reactions and experiences with us when you comment on our articles and social media posts.

We can learn from YOU, others can learn from YOU. You do not need a thousand words or grammatical accuracy because just a few words can inspire and change the world, even if it's one life at a time. Your words may be exactly what someone needs to read at this point in their life to help make things a little easier, to give them hope, to be a confidence booster or provide the tools they need to help someone else.

This is what it means to be a part of the Lush Fab Glam community, a place where we listen thoughtfully, respect each other, support each other and most of all inspire each other. So that we can discover, heal, grow, become and represent the best version of ourselves together.

None of us got to where we are today alone, at several stages in our life's journey, someone helped us, inspired us, supported us, empowered us. Gratitude requires us to not only be thankful but to do the same for someone else. That is why Lush-Fab-Glam.com was created and why we have been a part of our readers lives for nine plus years.

Most importantly why with our upcoming relaunch we will show our gratitude to all the amazing women who came before and paved the way for us. As well as to those who are currently helping to create a world, where every woman and girl can be educated, pursue their dreams, start and manage their own companies, choose to be stay-at-home moms, working professionals, both or  neither. A world where women are respected, have a voice and the ability to inspire others with their story.

We can't wait to read your answers to the question we posed to you in this article in the comments section below. Also to see the meaningful contribution and experiences you share with us in this and in future articles.

  1. I am living my life according to what feels right to me, regardless of what others are doing. I hope I inspire others, but if I don't, that's okay.

  2. I'm still discovering myself. I'm finding out that I am capable of doing many things I thought I couldn't. I've been inspired by heartbreak. It led me to blogging 4 months ago. I never thought I'd ever own a blog but now I have over 64 posts. Never knew I'd be able to sing till I tried. Never thought I'd travel till I made up Mind. Never thought I'd heal till I chose to let go. I've learnt to channel whatever pain I feel into positivity and creativity thus, serving as an inspiration to others.

My goal is to set a good example to my children on how to be responsible adults. I was a single parent at some point in time and I hope that my children saw how I tried my best to make ends meet and provide for them. I showed them that I can, I did, and will do it over again!

    1. I am discovering how to work smart so that I can inspire my 11-year old daughter. Being an independent woman is quite fulfilling and this can only be achieved by working hard without depending on any one else but yourself. Thank you for the inspiration.

You've built a beautiful community that helps women empower and help each other and it's just really so moving. I think it's important that we support each other as we all have experiences that we can learn from in life. I love this line the most, "one thing we all have in common is that we are women, beautiful and unique with complex experiences" it's beautifully said.
