How To Create Your Perfect Beauty Regimen.

Beautiful skin comes from good skin care and having a regular system of daily care for your skin will help you maintain that soft, beautiful look you love. You can find many beauty products on the market, all promising to help protect and preserve your skin, but which ones are right for you? Read on to discover how to create the perfect beauty regimen tailored to your specific skin needs.

1. Determine Your Skin Type:

If your skin is dry, washing your face once a day is fine. In the morning, rinse your face with lukewarm water, pat it dry, and save the cleanser for nighttime. If you exercise, play sports, or take a gym class, cleanse your skin afterward to keep your pores from clogging with sweat.

3. Absorb Excess Oil:

You probably notice your skin gets oily around lunchtime, especially in the area known as the T-zone, which includes your forehead, nose, and chin. Hormones may also cause your body temperature to be slightly higher during the day, making you look flushed. Dust your face with a loose powder to absorb oil and lighten your skin tone.

4. Concentrate on Skin Recovery:

Night is your body's time to recover, so your evening beauty routine is the most important. Begin with a gentle cleanser or makeup remover, and apply the product with a soft washcloth or cotton pad to help exfoliate your skin. After you wash and dry your face, smooth on an oil serum treatment containing essential fatty acids to help seal in moisture during the night. Pat an eye cream over any crow's feet and up to the brow bone to help firm skin around your eyes and finish with a night cream for more moisturizing while you sleep.

  • Don't wear your makeup to bed. You may be tempted to go directly to bed without washing your face, but not removing makeup could clog your pores and cause breakouts.
  • Replace your makeup often, especially products such as mascara. Replace eye makeup every four months to prevent bacteria from getting in your eyes.
  • Never share makeup or makeup tools and use fresh applicators if you are trying makeup in a store.
  • Don't apply eyeliner inside your eyelid, as it may irritate your eyes. If you have an eye infection, replace your makeup immediately so that you don't cause the infection to reoccur.
  • Never put makeup on in a moving vehicle as a bump or swerve could cause a scratch to your eye or you could get makeup inside your eye.
  • Finally, a good night's sleep and a healthy diet can help you keep your skin as soft and beautiful as you want.
