The fashion industry lost one off it's most celebrated designers on Monday October 20th, when Oscar de la renta passed away at the age of 82 after a ten year battle with cancer. Like legends of art Picasso and  Da Vinci, Oscar de la Renta has more than earned his place in history and will forever be remembered as one of the most iconic designers of our time.

With a career spanning over 50 years designing fashion master pieces for the runway, red carpet and dressing American First Ladies from the infamous style icon Jacqueline Kennedy to Hillary Clinton, Laura Bush and Michelle Obama.  The Dominican Republic born, American designer won over the hearts of women around the world A-list and everyday fashion admirers alike, who fell head over heels in love with his designs.
