Fab Makeup Ideas For The Fall And Winter Seasons.

Fab Makeup Ideas For The Fall And Winter Seasons.

As we say goodbye to the warm days of summer and welcome fall, our fashion and wardrobe colors are not the only things making a transition. We are also saying goodbye to the bright yellow and pink and the bold orange makeup trends that we loved wearing during spring and summer.

For our seasonal makeover we are ready to try a more demure and sophisticated beauty look. From the beautiful golden browns and dark red tones of fall to the fierce and shimmering blue tones of winter. Read on to see the fabulous makeup ideas that you should try this fall and winter and where to find the beauty products to re-create the looks you love.

Fall Makeup Ideas:
It's all about the beautiful colors of fall/autumn leaves. Mimic nature's color palettes with warm browns, gold and copper tones eye shadows and blushes and complete your look with nude lips for a day time look and wine red lips for a glam evening look.

Look 1: Warm brown and beige eye shadow.

Look 2: Try Rihanna's golden shimmer eye shadow.

Look 3: Copper tone and dark brown eye shadow.

Get The Look: The 4 in 1 Charlotte Ronson eye shadow set below has all the colors you need to effortlessly apply your warm brown, gold and Coppertone fall makeup.

Winter Makeup Ideas:
Winter is ice cold but your makeup does not have to be, you can borrow the best from the seasons, silvery icicles and blue frost to create makeup perfection.

1. Go for a dramatic look by mixing a shimmer silver eye shadow with this season's trendy cobalt and electric blue as shown below. For a lighter look apply your eye shadow only on the upper eye lids.

2. You can add a pop of  color to your winter style by applying a gorgeous teal eye shadow that draws attention to your eyes. This color complements all skin tones and to complete your look use a nude lip stick or gloss.

For a night out try model Chanel Iman's bold eye shadow, this is a great alternative to the popular black or dark grey smokey eye makeup.

Get The Look: Get the teal, silver shimmer and cobalt blue eye shadows you will need to recreate the winter makeup looks shown above in a small, compact case that you can easily take with you for touch-ups.

  11. Wow, I'm feeling very un-glamorous. I think I've used the same colors of eye shadow for at least three years. I tend to find a combo that works and stick with it. You have inspired me to break out of my comfort zone and add some color! I love the nicole color combination palette you had. Fall colors are definitely my favorite :) Krista @ A Handful of Everything

  17. I think they may be a bit too much for me (I work in a corporate office), but they are gorgeous. I'd at least think about switching to a fall palette. :)

  18. My go to colors seems to be browns. This past year I have been dabbling in pinks and purples and now that I saw the copper color I want to try that next.

  19. I love browns and purples for a fall look- or really an all the time look. It can be bold or it can also be very natural.

  25. Oh, I love the blue and teal colors! Don't think I'd be quite so dramatic with them for day to day, but toned down a bit instead. It would be a great pop of color on a dreary winter day!

  31. I love the looks in these pictures, but I am not sure I could pull some of them off. I do love warm tones like browns, beiges, and peach though which seem to give a more natural look.

  36. I don't wear make-up regularly, usually just mascara once in awhile for a special occasion. I love the bold look of the blue eyeshadow, but I don't think just anyone can pull that look off.

  37. I don't wear makeup much any more, but this is great information. I loved the natural colors when I did wear makeup. I like that you have recommended reasonably priced products to check out.

  38. Fall is a fun time to play with colors! We can get away with darker shades on lips. Purples and Greens are great for eyes too! I love Mary Kay's mascara that just came out in green and violet! So cool. www.marykay.com/rvalenzuela1

  39. I think the women in the pictures are beautiful. I wish when I put makeup on I looked like that! Of course, you have to have something to start with. Lol. I will pass this one to my granddaughters who love makeup.

  40. What beautiful looks! My youngest daughter is always doing something dramatic like those looks you shared. I just turned fifty so I try to look young by avoiding such looks. ; )

  41. My go to look for Fall involves deeper red lipstick. Far too bold for summer so I break it out again in the fall.

    ReplyDelete
  42. I rarely invest much time in my makeup but this might have inspired me to use a little more color on my eyes when I want to get glammed up!

    ReplyDelete
  43. I have to go with darker looks. I dont usually put makeup on unless we are going somewhere like a wedding or something. Too much time! I do love the look though.
