Steve Jobs family and friends say goodbye in private Funeral.
Visionary and technology icon Steve Jobs was laid to rest in a small, private funeral attended by family and close friends yesterday October 7th 2011. 

The co-founder and former CEO of Apple lost his battle with pancreatic cancer earlier this week, but he will be remembered for the his strength in the face of death and his brilliant inventions like the iPhone and iPad. 

Tributes have been placed at Apple stores around the world to commemorate the life and legacy of one of the most iconic figures of our time.

It has also been reported that Sony has acquired the film rights to the only authorized 'autobiography of Steve Jobs.' The book written by Walter Isaacson will be released on October 24th and is already #1 on Amazon's Best Seller's list. 

TV show 'The Simpson's' renewed for two more seasons.
Fans of TV show 'The Simpson's' can breathe a sigh of relief as news that a late deal was reached on Friday between the show's producer FOX and the voice actors. They were asked to take a 45% pay cut in order to keep the show on the air. 

This ensures that in two years the 'The Simpsons' cast and creators can celebrate a record breaking 25 years on TV.

'Sex and the City' actress Kristin Davis adopts a baby girl.
'Sex and the City' actress Kristin Davis is now the proud mom of adopted baby girl Jemma Rose.

She confirmed the news of her adoption to People magazine saying "This is something I have wanted for a very long time... Having this wish come true is even more gratifying than I ever had imagined. I feel so blessed."

Actor Billy Bob Thornton's daughter gets 20 year sentence for Manslaughter.
Amanda Brumfield the estranged daughter of Billy Bob Thornton was sentenced on Thursday to 20 years in jail by a Florida court. She was found guilty of the manslaughter of her 1 year old goddaughter Olivia Madison Garcia who she was babysitting for her friend Heather Murphy

Amanda was originally charged with murder for Olivia's death, which occurred in 2008 but she was found not guilty at the time. Before being sentenced Amanda told the court "I miss Olivia just as much as anybody does." Sharon Osbourne discusses her breast implant disaster on TV show the 'The Talk.'
Sharon Osbourne is known for holding nothing back on TV show the 'The Talk' so it came as no surprise when she told viewers the real reason for her recent hiatus from the show was not because she needed to spend time with her family and husband Ozzy Osbourne but because her breast implant had leaked.

Sharon explained that she underwent major surgery to have them removed. Watch Sharon's confession video below.
