Fall Beauty Trends: Don't Shy Away From Color!

Fall Beauty Trends: Don't Shy Away From Color!

While some of us look forward to fall fashion, others dread having to tone down their happy summer colors and styles to wear the myriads of blacks, grays and browns we find in store fronts instead. Thankfully the 2011 fall fashion runways gave us a lot to look forward to with beauty trends. From bright eyes to dramatic lips and bold cheeks. See our favorite fall beauty trends from the runway below.

Bright Smokey Eyes: Gone are the days when smokey eyes meant goth black or dark grey eye shadows, this fall try a shimmer green or aqua blue instead.

Dramatic Pastels: Who knew pastels could be so bold? To get this look try orange on the eyes and blossom pink on the lips.

Shimmery White Eyes: Get this Snow Queen from 'Alice in wonderland' look by applying white liner on both the top and bottom eye lids, then apply white eyes shadow at the inner corner of the eye and lightly on the eyelids.

Retro Liner: Get this retro rock-girl look by applying a long wear gel liner all over the upper eye lids.

Spider Lashes: Remember agonizing over finding the perfect mascara to get long, full lashes? Thanks to designer Lanvin's runway show, this fall you can get away with having 'spider lashes'. Try using 3 to 4 coats of mascara to achieve the twiggy effect.

Bold Pink Blush: Snow White's rosy cheeks are back this fall, to get this look apply the blush from the lower cheek area all the way up to the temple.

Glossy Red Lips: Go for a femme fatale look with dramatic glossy red lips, choose a bright red long wear lip stain for optimal results.

Get the Look: Want bold eye shadow colors for fall? We recommend Nars Fall 2011 collection.
