Best Summer Hairstyles for Fine Hair.

Summer is almost here and today we are talking with Lavada Dale, the Founder of Haircredible, a luxury line of harmful-chemical free hair styling products that are not tested on animals. She is sharing hair styling tips and the best summer hairstyles for women with naturally fine hair.

Read on to learn how to keep your hair from going limp or dull and how to overcome styling challenges to make your fine hair look and feel incredible this summer!

Naturally fine hair is super fragile, breaks very easily, and is prone to fly-away and static. So using lightweight products, being super delicate with your hair and knowing which styles are right for your hair type is extremely important. The hairstyles and hair care tips below will help to make your fine hair more manageable.

1. The Infamous Rinse n' Go:

Now, normally you see the 'wash and go' but with fine hair you don't have to wash every day or every other day if using super lightweight and build-up free products like Haircredible. You can wet your hair in the shower, use a spray bottle, or even put your head over the sink and gently rake through your hair with your wet hands to get the tangles out.

To get the 'rinse and go' look, apply your leave in conditioner, your styling product (I recommend the HC Curl Enhancing & Defining Potion) and be out the door! Your hair is super delicate so don't do too much, it's not necessary. And yes, we made up the RINSE N GO! You can do the rinse and go for four to five days and then wash.

2. Protective Styling- The Wig:

Fine natural hair is fragile and many styles pull on your hair and edges which is a no, no. Braiding or twisting your natural hair very gently and throwing on a cute wig is most recommended. Some of us like to change up our hairstyles and look different for a change. There is nothing wrong with wearing a wig or two!

3. The Mohawk:

Want four or five days of curls or a hair style that your trying to save as long as possible? The Mohawk is the perfect go-to. Grab your Haircredible Edge Control, gently snatch those edges right on up to the middle with a soft bristle brush, apply pins and strut your stuff.  Fab Tip: I love to use a wet brush when doing this!

4. The Pom Pom Bun:

Yes, us fine natural hair women have our own sayings for our hair do's and although this sounds funny it's our thing! Whether you have natural curls, wavy or straight hair you can achieve the 'pom pom bun'. Pretty much doing the pineapple method with your hair, bringing all your hair all the way to the top, applying your snatch free ponytail holder.

Once you separate your curls, leave it out cute and fluffy or pin it under for your bun hairstyle. If you don't have curls and you have a straight or wavy texture, bring your hair to the top, apply a styling product with some rollers and leave in for a bit. Once dry separate and leave out or clip under.
