We’ve all been there. Our favorite TV shows comes to an end or the show airing season ends and it feels as though we’ve lost a devoted friend or ended a loving relationship. Not only do we have to learn to pass that time without any new episodes, plot lines or character developments, but our routine is also left with a seemingly infinite void.
However it is not all doom and gloom since you now have an extra hour you can utilize however you like! So, what should you do with that extra hour or so you have? The options are endless! You could learn a new skill, read, play online games, have a go at painting or even reorganize your entire life! We thought we’d take a look at some of your options below so you’re never left with post-show sadness again...
Reading is by far one of the easiest yet most beneficial activities we can partake in, yet many of us simply do not find the time to curl up with a good book anymore. If you're more of a writer, you may want to consider setting up your own blog. These days, almost everyone has an online blog. But there are always more niches to be explored! If you enjoy writing, keeping a journal or would like to share your opinions with the world then blogging could be your new favorite hobby! There are plenty of blogging platforms you can use, so you don’t even need to be computer savvy to get started. If you're not into traditional blogging you can always start a social media page on Facebook, Instagram or Pinterest to share amazing photos, tips and ideas with ours.
3. Play Online Games
Although you may not consider yourself a gamer, there are millions of online gaming sites available so there's sure to be at least one where you'll feel right at home. Whether you choose to visit a website or download a game app from your cell phone, your online gaming options are limitless.
We all know the importance and benefits of exercise, but finding the time and motivation are actually the hardest parts of getting a good workout. Well, now you have an entire hour free in your schedule so you have no excuse! Fortunately, there are plenty of seriously fun workout videos on YouTube that you can try, including aerobic, cardio and dance routines that will make you feel energized and healthy while having a good time.
5. Get Organised
As times goes by we tend to let our homes and personal lives become a little… messy. This is usually not because we are lazy, untidy or simply don't care but rather because it is difficult to prioritize when there is so much happening in the world around us that requires our full attention. Now that your favourite TV show has ended, you can use your new time to do a little spring cleaning, de-clutter your home, organise your office, re-evaluate where you stand and set new life goals. Plus, once you've got everything in order you'll have the time to treat yourself to a new favorite show!
