Many of us dive into the use of beauty products, cleansers and facial creams in our teen years with little to no knowledge about the chemicals they contain or even our skin type. Some of us figure it out along the way by visiting a dermatologist, reading skin/facial care books and magazines or from a professional makeup artist, but many of us are still not sure about our skin type.
So we continue to try every new product that we see advertised or that a friend recommends regardless of whether it will be effective and give us the desired results or simply damage our skin causing irritations and breakouts. Even if you know your skin type, our skin changes over time and at different stages, so it is always wise to take the skin type quiz again.
