Our favorite collection from New York Fashion week so far comes from Monique Lhuillier. The designer recently shared her inspiration for the glamorous collection and runway design with Elle magazine she said,
"Well, it all started from looking at a malachite rock that I had, and the green was so mesmerizing, I was like, 'Oh my gosh, I have to put this in the collection!' Then I decided to paint the [runway] backdrop that color because it feels so opulent and so inviting."
Carmen Marc Valvo Fall 2013 Collection:
We are obsessed with the black sheer and lace dresses that went down the runway during the brand's New York fashion week show and it's obvious why. The feminine, curve-hugging and strategically cut bustier gowns blend fierce and edgy fashion with sophisticated glamour.
Sergio Davila Fall 2013 Collection
Peruvian fashion designer Sergio Davila's casual-chic collection included versatile men and women's wear that easily transitions from the catwalk to the street walk.
